New site launched for Crisis

We're as proud as punch to launch something very worthwhile: a website for the national homeless charity Crisis. The charity came to us to help them launch a site that would encourage people to campaign, donate, fundraise and volunteer. After our work with the Homeless World Cup over the last few years, it was a natural progression for us.

Homeless World Cup live from Melbourne!

Canadian fans cheer at the Homeless World Cup

Last Thursday we waved (a temporary) goodbye to Loft Project Manager and technical wizard Woody, as he set off for Melbourne to manage a live online reporting operation throughout the tournament.

We've been busy over the last few weeks getting everything ready - with the home page featuring live match reports, photos, movies and user content, as well as round-by-round fixtures and results.

Crisis logoExciting news at loft this month - we've just won a pitch to design a new website for Crisis, the homeless charity.

Crisis is all about individuals and actions that have a lasting impact on their lives. So we'll be looking at new ways to use the web to get politicians, the media, campaigners, fundraisers and volunteers involved in this vital work, and connect them directly with the individual stories that relate to their actions.

Loft hits Copenhagen for Homeless World Cup

Pack your bags, bring your flags, get ready with your cheering gear! The Homeless World Cup 2007 starts in Copenhagen today.

loft-ite Woody Sabran will be on-site for the whole event, coordinating a massive live online news operation. From our special tournament home page, you’ll be able to see all the latest scores, read the match reports and see photos of the highlights.
