We are looking for a Junior All Rounder to join our rapidly growing team in Clerkenwell, central London. While that might not be your eventual job title, it probably describes what you'd really love to do: you are genuinely nuts about the web, you want to learn about everything.
Loft is a fun, small digital agency where everyone mucks in, but this really is an across the board role:
- You'll be the first port of call for clients phoning in, so you'll need excellent communication skills.
- You'll be involved in organising and putting together cutting-edge web projects, large and small, so you'll need to be well organised and passionate about design and technology.
- You'll be supporting the design and tech departments by preparing imagery and HTML, and – if you have the flair – creating your own designs. So you'll need to know your web design skills.
- You'll be joining the whole team in coming up with new ideas, so you'll need to be au-fait with all the latest digital gadgets.
- You'll be helping clients out with their basic questions and support issues, so you'll need stacks of general webby know-how.
- As team junior, you'll also be responsible for sorting out stationery and stamps. Not that there's much of that to do in a digital office.
At Loft, we like to bring people on for the long term, and invest in helping them to become simply brilliant at their jobs. So we're looking for someone with the underlying talent, flair and ambition to work towards to a senior role in the company, with the option to specialise more along the way.
Most importantly, you need to be fun, approachable and up for a challenge!
Some of the following could also come in handy:
- Nifty with a camera / video camera
- Social media addict
- Experience of blogging and/or ability to write well
- Basic understanding of some programming language(s)
